Pip Martin
Pip joined St Hild after returning to the North of England, living in Coventry. Her career previously took her to Operations roles in different organisations, including a charity working with asylum seekers and refugees; a church and associated foodbank; an independent soup supply business; a church leadership & training organisation and more. She enjoys helping teams keep their eyes on the big picture vision and embrace new opportunities while making sure it’s sustainable and values-driven growth. Pip also speaks French, German and Farsi and loves to connect with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Operations Manager
Louise Johnson
Louise is based at St Hild Sheffield and her professional background in IT support, charity fundraising, and arts administration, has given an excellent grounding for her varied college-wide brief at St Hild. Louise is responsible for the college’s financial administration and also oversees a variety of digital activities including the maintenance and development of our database systems.
Louise lives in Sheffield and has a passion for film and media, having founded The Sheffield Christian Film & Media Festival; she also enjoys sewing.
Academic Registrar & Team Administration Manager
Sam Warren
Sam has a professional background in operations across a number of sectors, including Higher Education, Sport and Health/Social services. In his role, Sam oversees the College’s academic administration, regulatory compliance, and delivery of processes across the organisation. He works closely with academic and operations teams in the management of student data, reporting, admissions and virtual learning systems, as well as supporting the development of administrative staff and structures across the College.
Sam leads worship for a local church and is a keen follower of all things music and sport.
Centre Administrator (Mirfield & Online)
Carol Marsh
Carol is the administrator at St Hild Mirfield. A retired teacher, her interests include art and photography, outdoor pursuits and music. She is a member of Longcauseway Church in Dewsbury and enjoys volunteering with Dewsbury Cares Community Group.
Centre Administrator (Sheffield)
Zuzka Niedelova
Zuzka, a former St Hild student at the Sheffield Centre, still has a great interest in theology, particularly exegesis and Biblical languages. She has a background in childcare and education with a passion for people who struggle in mainstream settings and enjoys finding ways for them to engage with learning and achieving as much as others.
Having previously worked for a local church as a Youth Worker, working with other churches across Sheffield, she loves connecting with Christians from various backgrounds and stretching her own beliefs. Zuzka enjoys supporting people on their journeys and finding the most efficient ways of doing things, which is reflected in how she approaches her role at St Hild.
Communications and Marketing Officer
Jeannie McGinnis
Jeannie McGinnis joined St Hild following a varied career in media and marketing. She studied journalism and communications at the university in the early 1990s and then worked in marketing/public relations until 1999. She entered the ministry full-time as a student pastor, then as a senior pastor with her husband, Dr Daniel McGinnis. In 2005, she moved to Sheffield, UK, from Texas and continued to co-pastor a church until 2013. In 2013, she transitioned to a freelance career in the media and marketing sectors.
She is also a trained presenter, speaker, wellness coach and voice artist. As a writer, she enjoys crafting pieces that promote compelling storytelling, and as an artist, she specialises in watercolours.
Centre for Baptist Ministry Administrator
Helen Swan
Helen brings a rich and varied background to her role as Administrator for the Centre for Baptist Ministry. Before joining St Hild, she worked as a graphic designer and as a Corporate Social Responsibility Coordinator. Previously, she worked as a primary school teacher.
Outside of work, Helen enjoys painting, singing with her local choir and swimming. She loves good coffee, family adventures, and walks in the beautiful Peak District with friends.
Project Manager
Abby Harris
Abby is the Project Manager for the St Hild Centre for Church Planting, and Communications Administrator for St Hild College. She has a background in administration, as well as being part of a church plant team for ten years.
She is on the leadership team of St Peter's Morley and enjoys jigsaws and coffee.
Centre Administrator (Lincoln)
Rev Judith Simons
Judith is the Centre Administrator for St Hild Lincoln and joined following a varied career, mainly within education, carrying out various administrative roles, then teaching students with learning difficulties and disabilities, and most recently as a librarian.
She is an Associate Priest (SSM) in the Bolingbroke Deanery of the Diocese of Lincoln where she is passionate about spreading the gospel to the wider communities. In the little spare time that she has, she enjoys singing with Banovallum Singers and spending time with family and friends.
Team Admin Assistant
Rebecca Powell
Rebecca has a background in student work and customer liaison. Her experience in running events, supporting students and church administration links to her current role at St Hild. Rebecca’s main role with the college involves supporting the Administrative Manager and the Finance & Systems Manager, helping expand the college’s operational capacity. Rebecca is mainly based at St Hild Mirfield, where she supports teaching days and weekend residentials.
Rebecca lives in Leeds, where she studied French and Linguistics. She has a passion for music, food and community. At church, she enjoys serving on the worship team, the technology team, and supporting a church plant for unchurched students
Finance Assistant
Tim Stewart
Tim combines his role as Finance Assistant with his responsibilities as the Hospitality Host at the Sheffield Centre on teaching days and as a personal assistant in the care profession. His professional background is in Finance and Administration in both the public and private sectors. Tim lives in Sheffield and enjoys watching sport, playing board games, and making bread, whilst his proudest achievement was a 314th place finish in the 2023/24 season of Fantasy Premier League!
Systems and Data Officer![]()
Andy Norfolk
Andy has a professional background in merchandise financial planning systems, providing configuration and support for numerous clients in the retail sector and brings this experience to his role at St Hild, supporting the maintenance and development of the systems employed at St Hild. As an active volunteer in his local church, he is on the leadership team and provides operational and audio-visual technology support.
