About Dave
Dave completed a BA and MSc from Leeds University in Geography and Politics and Sustainability, respectively, before entering pastoral ministry. Dave was a pastor at Mosaic Church Leeds from 2012 to 2017 and an elder on the Senior Leadership Team from 2014 to 2021. In 2016, Dave started working for Leeds School of Theology and became the Director in 2019. Dave gained a GDip and MA in Theology, Mission and Ministry from St Hild between 2016 and 2020 and is currently completing a PhD in Theology at Durham University.
Dave was an Associate Faculty member with St Hild between 2021 and 2025, teaching Christology, Introduction to New Testament, Mission and Evangelism and Preparing to Learn. In August 2025, he began his role as Academic and Formation Tutor. He has been a lecturer with CYM, tutored Free Church students at St John's College, Durham and written for Scripture Union. He regularly teaches and preaches in local churches across the North of England.
