About Chrissy
Revd Chrissy Remsberg is the senior minister of Beacon Church, a Baptist church in Stafford. Chrissy has been a minister at Beacon Church for almost nine years. She also co-leads the Firestarters Network, which is focused on growing Baptist churches and helping other churches to grow. Through Firestarters, Chrissy has co-authored two books (On This Rock, 2023 and Scattered Not Small, 2024) and produces a series of podcasts aimed at helping churches to plant more churches and reach more people with the gospel.
Chrissy has a wide experience in church planting, from currently leading a microchurch network in Beacon Church, to participating in missional communities in Southern California, USA, to traditional, attractional church planting through an international church during her time living and working in Shanghai, China.
Chrissy is currently studying for her Doctor of Ministry in Church Planting in the Evangelical, Sacramental, and Pentecostal Perspective through Asbury Theological Seminary in partnership with St. Hild. She lives in hope of graduating in May 2027.
Chrissy is an American who has lived in the UK, the US, and China as well as spending time in South Africa. When she's not out walking her very lively cocker spaniel she can usually be found with a book or three.
