Operations Manager

Rachel McLafferty

Rachel joined St Hild after a career spanning both the charity and faith sectors. She has been involved in organisations that support individuals and families affected by brain injury, learning disability and the consequences of inequality and poverty. Rachel has worked both in the UK and in New Zealand and has a particular interest in fundraising for locally grown services and projects. Prior to joining St Hild, Rachel was Operations Manager for a large Anglican church in Sheffield and has provided support to other faith organisations. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute for Professional Development and an Independent Non-Executive Director at South Yorkshire Housing Association..

Team Administrator

Louise Johnson

Louise is based at St Hild Sheffield and her professional background in IT support, charity fundraising, and arts administration, has given an excellent grounding for her varied college-wide brief at St Hild. Louise is responsible for the college’s financial administration, she also oversees a variety of digital activities including the maintenance of our virtual learning environment and database systems.

Louise lives in Sheffield and has a passion for film and media and, in 2020 founded The Sheffield Christian Film & Media Festival; she also enjoys sewing and baking.

Centre Administrator (Mirfield)

Carol Marsh

Carol is the administrator at St Hild Mirfield. A retired teacher, her interests include art and photography, outdoor pursuits and music. She is a member of Longcauseway Church in Dewsbury and enjoys volunteering with Dewsbury Cares Community Group.

Centre Administrator (Sheffield)

Sam Warren

Sam has a professional background in administration across a number of sectors, including Higher Education, Sport and Adoption/Therapy. He has specific responsibility for St Hild Sheffield. Helping to manage the day-to-day operations of the centre, and would usually be the first point of contact for anyone who is looking to study theology in Sheffield, together with the administration of St Hild’s programme for Anglican curates.

Sam leads Worship for a local vulnerabilities church and is a keen follower of all things sport.

Relationship Manager 

Abby Harris

Abby is the Relationship Manager for the St Hild Centre for Church Planting, and Communications Administrator for St Hild College. She has a background in administration, as well as being part of a church plant team for ten years. 

She is on the leadership team of St Peter's Morley and enjoys jigsaws and coffee.
