Several of the St Hild Lead students shared a few words of wisdom and encouragement to new and returning students.

‘Starting ministry training is a courageous and faith-filled step—trust that God has already equipped you with what you need for this journey. Every challenge will help shape your character, deepen your faith, and strengthen your calling. Walk forward with humility and confidence, knowing you’re being prepared to serve in ways that will impact lives for eternity. And know you are never alone- not only do we have God on our side...we have each other!’ Clare S., Lead Baptist Student
‘We must resist the urge to prove how clever we are to others. Embracing the risk of failure and a willingness to ask silly questions is a crucial part of being shaped into instruments for God's glory.
Three golden rules for theological study:
1.Don't try to prove how clever you are. Focus on how you're growing.
2.Never cut corners. Lean into the process and go the extra mile.
3.The book / article / person that ticks you off is the very one you need to engage with - and learn from.’ Joe B., Lead Independent Student
‘As you begin your time with us at St Hild, my hope for you is that you will fully embrace the journey God is leading you on.
