About Hugh
Canon Dr Hugh Jones is the Warden of the College of St Hugh in the Lincoln Diocese. Hugh was ordained in 2010. He studied Psychology as an undergraduate and was awarded his doctorate in 1994 for work on ‘Children’s Understanding of Knowledge Acquisition’. He trained for ordination at Ripon College Cuddesdon. He served title in the Parish of Boston before being appointed Vicar of St Nicholas Church in Lincoln. He has taught Philosophy of Religion at Bishop Grosseteste University for several years and a regular contributor to the teaching at the Lincoln School of Theology.
In 2022 he became Principal of the LST when he was appointed Warden of the College of St Hugh with a brief to establish a culture of lifelong Christian learning for all the people of the Diocese of Lincoln.
