About Gary
Gary has been involved in Church Ministry for much of his life, at first in children’s and youth ministry, working both in schools and as a Church Youth Minister. He was ordained in 2004 and has been involved in leading local Churches since then. His current role is a Vicar in Chesterfield, on the edge of the Peak District.
He has also had an interest in leadership theory and practice, which led him to study for an MA in Leadership in a Complex World, completing his studies in 2023. He has a particular interest in bridging the gap between current leadership theory and how it can be applied and put into practice in the local church context.
