About Amy
Amy studied English Literature at Edinburgh University and the University of Amsterdam, and Text and Performance Studies at King’s College, London, before qualifying as a solicitor. After practising in the City of London she worked for 17 years as a writer and editor for Thomson Reuters, working on a range of publications in the field of employment law.
Amy came to Sheffield in 2010. She served in her local church as a lay Reader before coming to St Hild to study for an MA in Theology, Ministry and Mission – discovering there a calling not only to ordained ministry but also to teaching. Amy is Vicar of Heeley Parish Church in Sheffield, alongside teaching at St Hild and writing for Scripture Union.
