About Adrian 

Adrian is semi-retired. He was Team Vicar in the St George's, Leeds Team and clergy lead at St Augustine's Wrangthorn and church@hydeparkcorner, 'a student church for non-churched students'. Prior to coming to Leeds, he was an Associate Vicar at St. Luke's in Watford. Adrian has been involved in leadership within a local church for over 35 years, serving also in Baptist and independent churches. He has also experience of leadership in other contexts, as a Chair of School Governors, and for over 11 years was involved in senior leadership within Higher Education, latterly as Principal of a Theological College specialising in Practical Theology.

Adrian was involved in Higher Education for 20 years, both in Theology and Education. In Theological Education, the focus was in practical theology, which included Leadership, delivering teaching and learning at both undergraduate and master's levels. He has taught Pastoral Care for several years, both within a college context and within the local church. He has an MA in Contextual Theology from Manchester University, gained his PGCE from Huddersfield University, as well as a Diploma in Biblical Studies and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Missiology. He is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and was, for many years, a council member of the European Council for Theological Education.
